In an unprecedented move, Foxwoods Resort Casino announces the simulcast of horse racing events in the United States, from one of the largest horse racing organizations in the world - the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
With an exclusive 5-year agreement with Las Vegas Dissemination Company, Foxwoods will simulcast horse racing events that will allows horse racing fans in the United States to enter into pari-mutuel commingled wagering on all races featured at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, for the first time ever. This new partnership will allow patrons to participate in very significant prize pools that could potentially pay out millions of dollars. Foxwoods customers will now enjoy exclusive access to some of the world's most thrilling international horse races in real time. Bets will be placed through the Las Vegas Dissemination Company, the only approved and authorized hub to receive the Hong Kong Jockey Club signal in the United States. The first races will be simulcast starting September 2007.
