FOXWOODS RESORT CASINO CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF WORLD-CLASS ENTERTAINMENT WITH FOUR FREE SHOWS

MASHANTUCKET, CT (February 6, 2017) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination, is celebrating their 25 Anniversary with FREE shows for guests to enjoy.  Join Foxwoods on their official Anniversary date February 15 and kick off the celebration with A-List entertainers Kesha and Smokey Robinson headlining in the Grand and Fox Theaters respectively. Guests attending the Kesha concert can line up starting at noon on February 15 the Premier Ballroom Pre-function area to receive a wrist band for entry to the show of their choice, and at the Fox Theater Box Office for the Smokey Robinson performance.  Continuing into the weekend, Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge is throwing it back to the 80s with free performances by Morris Day and The Time on Friday, and Taylor Dayne on Saturday.

 

Kesha and the Creepies

WHEN: February 15, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

Get “creepy” with Kesha at the Grand Theater for free! Kesha has been named Billboard’s Hot 100 Artists and her debut single “Tik Tok” was named Billboard’s #1 Hot 100 Song in 2010.  Since then, she has continuously topped the charts with eight consecutive Top 10 hits, including “Your Love Is My Drug,” “We R Who We R,” and her multi-platinum award winning collaboration with Pitbull, “Timber.”  Wristband distribution for Kesha will begin at noonat the Grand Fox Tower Premier Ballroom Pre-function area on a first-come, first serve basis.

 

Smokey Robinson

WHEN: February 15, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

The GRAMMY Living Legend award winner, Smokey Robinson, is bringing four decades of hits to the Fox Theater for a free show!  The Motown singer-songwriter has been inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.  Known for his hits like “The Way  You Do The Things You Do,” “My Girl” and “Cruisin,” Smokey continues to be a beloved icon in the music industry.  Wristband distribution for Smokey Robinson will begin at noonat the Fox Theater Box Office area on a first-come, first serve basis.

 

Morris Day and The Time

WHEN: February 17, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE:  Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge

Mentored by Prince, Morris Day and The Time helped define the sound of soul, funk and dance in the 80s.  Known for their hits including “Jungle Love,” “Get It Up” and “Jerk Out,” the band gained popularity in the R&B genre.  Boogey on over to Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge to enjoy the free performance on Friday night.

Taylor Dayne

WHEN: February 18, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Live@Atrium Bar & Lounge

Pop icon Taylor Dayne has seen success in three consecutive decades. The singer, songwriter and actress has had multiple Top 10 hits, sold a combined 75 million singles and albums and received GRAMMY nominations.  The “Tell It To My Heart” and “Love Will Lead You Back” singer will take the Live@Atrium stage for a free performance, leading the crowd back to the 80s and 90s.
