FOXWOODS RESORT CASINO ANNOUNCES FEBRUARY ENTERTAINMENT LINE UP

MASHANTUCKET, CT (January 25, 2016) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination, is bringing the biggest names in the industry to the incomparable Grand and Fox Theaters in celebration of its 25 Anniversary kick off. February 15 marks the official anniversary date, and headlining acts Kesha and Smokey Robinson will get the party started with FREE performances in the Grand and Fox Theaters. The silver celebrations will continue into the weekend with superstar performances from John Fogerty, Rascal Flatts and Ashanti and Ja Rule. The February entertainment slate remains revelatory all month long with GRAMMY Award-winning musical acts, celebrated stand-up comedians and international celebrity talents set to take the stage at SHRINE.

 

Guests can line up starting at noon on February 15 at the respective box office to receive a wristband for entry to Kesha and Smokey Robinson.

Paula Poundstone

WHEN: February 3, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

One of the most celebrated female comedians of all time, Paula Poundstone is a force to be reckoned with in every facet of comedy. The multi-tasking talent tours the country regularly performing her stand-up routines, is a panelist on NPR’s No. 1 show “Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!” and has even been heard on the big screen voicing characters in Disney Pixar’s Academy Award-winning film Inside Out. British Rock Extravaganza

WHEN: February 4, 8:00 p.m.    

WHERE: Fox Theater

The Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra is bringing their nine-vocalist rock band to the Fox Theater to perform chart-topping hits by 1970s British rock royalty. The band performs as its own unconventional orchestra, bringing to life the celebrated musical talents of Queen, David Bowie, The Beatles, The Who and Led Zeppelin in one astounding performance. Tickets are $20.

 

Psychic Medium Matt Fraser

WHEN: February 5, 3:00 p.m.

WHERE: Celebrity Ballroom

Internationally renowned psychic and medium Matt Fraser is heading back to Foxwoods to continue his mission of connecting those who have passed with the loved ones they left behind in his uplifting live experience "Medium with a Message." Matt’s messages of hope, comfort and reassurance have touched the lives of all he meets, making him one of the most gifted and sought-after psychics on the circuit. Tickets are $40.

 

Shaun Frank

WHEN: February 7, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

Canadian DJ, singer-songwriter and producer Shaun Frank is bringing his musical mastery to the turntables at SHRINE. Shaun is best known for his collaborations with world renowned EDM artists such as Oliver Heldens, Borgeous and The Chainsmokers resulting in endless tracks to keep his fans on the dance floor. Michael Carbonaro Live

WHEN: February 10, 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

A celebrated magician, actor and comedian, Michael Carbonaro is delivering his signature blend of bizarre antics, video visuals, audience interaction and mind-blowing magic to the stage for two performances at the Fox Theater. Audience members will recognize Michael from his reoccurring television appearances on acclaimed series including “30 Rock” and “CSI: Miami” and on truTV’s hidden camera magic series “The Carbonaro Effect” that showcases his magical gifts. Iliza: The Confirmed Kills Tour

WHEN: February 11, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Iliza is bringing her comedic genius to audiences around the country in her national, headlining stand-up tour “Iliza: The Confirmed Kills Tour.” Iliza is the only female and youngest comedian to win NBC’s hit show “Last Comic Standing” and is currently developing her own late-night comedy series with Freeform. Tickets are $26, $32 and $40.

 

Ultimate Red Party with Kirill Was Here

WHEN: February 14, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at SHRINE with world-famous nightlife photographer Kirill. Kirill has become a fixture at the most recognizable nightclubs in the world and has even been booked by music heavyweights LMFAO, Travie McCoy, Steve Aoki and Lil Jon to photograph their concerts and private events. Strike your hottest pose and be a part of the action at SHRINE! Tickets are $15.

 

Kesha and the Creepies

Pop music maven Kesha is kicking off Foxwoods’ 25th Anniversary celebrations with a free live performance! After taking the world by storm with her first studio album release “Animal,” Kesha has been ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 countless times and has released multi-platinum award-winning tracks with the likes of Pitbull and Britney Spears. Complimentary tickets will be available February 15 beginning at 12 p.m. at the Grand Theater Box Office on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit two tickets per guest.

 

Smokey Robinson

WHEN: February 15, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Acclaimed Motown singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson is bringing his beloved hits to Foxwoods for a free live performance in honor of the property’s 25th Anniversary! Recognized for hit songs such as “The Way You Do the Things You Do” and “My Girl,” Smokey Robinson has received numerous awards including the GRAMMY Living Legend Award and has been inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters’ Hall of Fame for his unparalleled talents. John Fogerty

WHEN: February 16, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

Best known as the front man for rock band Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty is an American music icon. A GRAMMY Award winner, John began his solo career in the 1980s with his chart topping single “Centerfield” and has been featured on Rolling Stone Magazine’s List of Top 100 Greatest Guitarists and Top 100 Singers of all time. Rascal Flatts

Ja Rule & Ashanti

Adele Givens

Adele Givens began her career in the spotlight as the crowned winner of the Crown Royal Comedy competition in Chicago, and went on to perform on both the big screen in “Beauty Shop” and “The Players Club” and on television in series such as “Moesha,” “Comedy Central Presents” and “The Steve Harvey Show.” With comedy credits including “Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam” and HBO’s “Comedy Central Presents,” Adele has certainly reigned supreme throughout her impressive career. Alan Walker
