MASHANTUCKET, CT (February 21, 2017) – Got a case of Spring Fever? Foxwoods® Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination, is continuing its 25th Anniversary celebrations all month long with a lineup of must-see entertainment performances to help shake off the winter chill. With a slate of GRAMMY Award-winning musical acts and world renowned comedians set to wow guests at the state-of-the-art Grand and Fox Theaters, there is truly something for all to enjoy this March as we usher in springtime!

Lion Fight 35

WHEN: March 3, 7:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Lion Fight Promotions, the worldwide leader in Muay Thai combat, is heading to the Fox Theater for their second live performance of 2017 in Lion Fight 35. The main event will feature two-division champion ‘Smokin’ Jo Nattawut versus rival Thai veteran Kengsiam Nor Sripueng. The co-main event will highlight women’s super-lightweight belt-holder Antonina “The Panther” Shevchenko taking on Aleide “The Dutchess” Lawant. Tickets are $55 and $95.

 

Amy Schumer

WHEN: March 3, 8:00 p.m. and March 3, 10:45 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

“It Girl” Amy Schumer has proven herself to be one of the entertainment industry’s leading forces as a standup comedian, actress, writer, producer and director. Best known for her Comedy Central series, “Inside Amy Schumer,” for which she won the 2015 Writers Guild Award, Amy is also a New York Times bestselling author and a Golden Globe nominee for her big screen role in “Trainwreck.” Tickets are $54, $83 and $134.

 

DJ Scooter

WHEN: March 4, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

A top-selling remix artist, DJ Scooter’s original tracks have the support of world-famous music artists including Lil Jon, Diplo, Krewella and more. In 2010 DJ Scooter was signed to Def Jam Record Label for his remix of Rihanna’s "Rude Boy" and has since used his flawless craft to remix chart-toppers like Miley Cyrus’s “We Can’t Stop” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” Tickets are $30.

 

Tom Segura: No Teeth No Entry Tour

WHEN: March 10, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Stand-up comedian Tom Segura is a force to be reckoned with having performed at the top comedy festivals in the world. His television credits include fan favorites such as “Workaholics” and “Happy Endings” and he currently stars in his own podcast “Your Mom’s House” co-hosted with his wife, comedian Christina Pazsitzky. Tickets are $29.

 

Jillionaire of Major Lazer

WHEN: March 10, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

Jillionaire is best known as a member of EDM sensation Major Lazer alongside Diplo and Walshy Fire, but his solo act is nothing short of impressive. With a series of international tours spanning North America, Europe, Asia and beyond, the Trinidad & Tobago native has found support for his unique genre of music with celebrated DJ’s such as Steve Aoki and Nervo. Il Volo

Notte Magica – A Tribute To The Three Tenors

WHEN: March 11, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

International powerhouse trio, Il Volo, have performed worldwide bringing audiences their bilingual live performance hits sung in English, Italian and Spanish. Following a prestigious win at the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy, the group is heading back to the United States to perform their traditional and pop hits accompanied by powerful symphony orchestras. DJ Dainjazone

From sharing the stage with world-famous artists such as Kanye West, Avicii, Calvin Harris, and more, to international travels with LMFAO’s own Redfoo as his resident tour DJ, Dainjazone has established himself as one of the most versatile DJs in the business. Tickets are $30.

Carrot Top

WHEN: March 17, 8:00 p.m. and March 18, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

With three decades of comedic performance in his arsenal, Carrot Top is one of the most popular, recognizable and successful comedians in America.  After years of performing to sold-out audiences throughout the country, Carrot Top has held a residency at the Luxor Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for over ten years and recently renewed his contract through 2020 due to his overwhelming success. George Lopez

WHEN: March 18, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

George Lopez does it all. With a multi-faceted career spanning television, film and stand-up comedy, Lopez hosted his own TBS late-night series “Lopez Tonight” and is currently on tour performing in his own stand-up show as well as “The Comedy Get Down Tour” with Charlie Murphy, Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, and Cedric the Entertainer on stages across the country. Tickets are $44 and $54.

 

DJ Costa

WHEN: March 18, 9:00 p.m.

DJ Costa is back at it at SHRINE spinning his fan-favorite mixes. A top DJ in New England, Costa made a name for himself working on Boston’s No. 1 morning radio show, Matty in the Morning, on Kiss 108. He has since left his mark spinning at the hottest clubs around the country and has opened for some of music’s biggest acts. Tickets are $30.

 

Vic DiBitetto

WHEN: March 24, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Comedian Vic DiBitetto is best known for turning his frantic energy, blunt honesty and endearing humanity into nonstop laughter. Vic’s talents have landed him roles on big screen box office hits like “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” as well as on television in ABC’s “America's Funniest People” and VH1’s “Stand-Up Spotlight.” Tickets are $32 and $42.

 

 

Piff the Magic Dragon

WHEN: March 25, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Piff the Magic Dragon has performed his unique blend of comedy and magic to countless fans in iconic venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Sydney Opera House. His one-man show earned him a residency at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and he is considered the breakout star of the tenth season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” Tickets are $20.

 

Walk Off The Earth

A multi-platinum selling Canadian quintet, Walk Off The Earth is acclaimed for their viral pop hits. Jordan Smith
