FOXWOODS RESORT CASINO ANNOUNCES JUNE ENTERTAINMENT LINE UP

The long-awaited months of summer are finally here, and Foxwoods® Resort Casino is excited to kick the season off with some of the best entertainment acts! The Grand and Fox Theaters will host GRAMMY award winning performers, comedic superstars, death-defying circus acts and pop culture fan favorite, ComiCONN. “That Cool Pool Party is Back!” –  June kicks off Foxwoods’ highly anticipated Liquid Sundays pool party season with celebrity DJs mixing their favorite tracks poolside.

Katt Williams

WHEN: June 2, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

A renowned actor, rapper and stand-up comedian, Katt Williams is no stranger to the big stage or the big screen having performed countless shows in sold-out arenas as well as appearing in box office hits like “Scary Movie 5.” Tickets are $38, $60 and $79.

 

Broadway Boxing

WHEN: June 3, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

New London, Connecticut native Shelly Vincent takes on Mykquan Williams from East Hartford, Connecticut for eight rounds of hard hitting boxing. Tickets are $45, $75 and $125.

 

DJ Borgeous

WHEN: June 6, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

West Coast based platinum recording artist John Borger has made waves in the music industry earning three Billboard Dance Radio Top 10 spots for tracks like "Tsunami" and "Invincible.” His keen ear and innate talent to produce provocative beats make him an undeniable force on iTunes and Beatport’s music charts. Tickets are $15.

 

Maxwell with Special Guests Ledisi and Leela James

WHEN: June 9, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

Maxwell has been redefining soul and R&B since the 90’s with the release of his first album “Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite.” A thirteen-time GRAMMY award winning artist, Maxwell recently received a GRAMMY for his single “Lake By The Ocean.” Tickets are $66 & $96.


T.J. Miller

WHEN: June 9, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” T.J. Miller is bringing his sidesplitting stand-up to the Fox Theater. He is best known for his television role in “Silicon Valley” and big screen role in the blockbuster hit “Deadpool,” and he also hosts his own podcast, "Cashing in with T.J. Miller." Tickets are $25 and $35.

 

ComiCONN

WHEN: June 10 and June 11, 10 a.m.

WHERE: Premier Ballroom

Returning for its eighth show, Altered Reality Entertainment presents ComiCONN "A Show for the Fans by the Fans!” Renowned comic book artists and vendors will be onsite for fans to enjoy in addition to the hottest movie, television and cosplay stars pop culture has to offer for meet and greet opportunities. Tickets range from $10 - $99.

 

MOTIVAN2: Zion & Lennox

WHEN: June 10, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

One of the most important acts in urban Latin music, Zion and Lennox earned their first number one spot on the Billboard Top Latin Albums in 2016 with their “Motivan2” release. The Puerto Rican duo will be joined onstage by special guests Ivy Queen and Mozart La Para. Tickets are $58, $78 and $150.

 

Sam Feldt

WHEN: June 13, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

Dutch DJ and producer Sam Feldt is no stranger to the EDM scene. After producing a remake of Robin Stone’s popular track “Show Me Love” Sam cemented his place among his peers on the EDM charts. Tickets are $15.

 

PIPPIN

WHEN: June 15 – June 18, show times vary

WHERE: Fox Theater

“PIPPIN” is the high-flying, death-defying, Broadway hit musical full of extraordinary acrobatics, wondrous magical feats and soaring songs from the composer of “Wicked.” This unforgettable production is the winner of four 2013 Tony Awards® including Best Musical Revival for unforgettable songs like “Glory.” Tickets are $40 and $55.

 

Fifth Harmony

WHEN: June 18, 7:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

Known for chart topping hits like “Work From Home” and “All In My Head (Flex),” Fifth Harmony is an American Music Award, iHeartRadio and People’s Choice award winner. Coming off their “7/27” global tour, Fifth Harmony is hitting the Grand Theater stage and bringing fans their favorite anthems. Tickets are $45, $55 and $75.

 

Breathe Carolina

WHEN: June 20, 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: SHRINE

Breathe Carolina first turned heads in the EDM scene with their dance debut “Anywhere But Home” which crept along Beatport’s Progressive House charts until it was slotted in the number one spot. Breathe Carolina has continued to rise to the top of the charts with anthems like “Hero (Satellite).” Tickets are $15.

 

A Night At The Disco

WHEN: June 23, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Grab your platforms! A Night At The Disco featuring Village People, Sister Sledge, Rose Royce and The Trammps brings back the best of the 70s with dynamite performances of beloved songs like “Car Wash” and “We Are Family.” Tickets are $55 and $65.

 

John Legend

WHEN: June 23, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

Piano virtuoso and vocal crooner John Legend has had fans awestruck since his 2004 debut album “Get Lifted.” Whether performing at the GRAMMY’s or collaborating with some of R&B's top acts, John Legend needs only his grand piano and soulful vocals to treat the audience to favorites like “Ordinary People” and “All Of Me.” Tickets are $75, $125, $150 and $175.

 

Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton

WHEN: June 24, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

Rock legends Steve Miller and Peter Frampton will come together onstage for a legendary performance that is not to be missed. Miller is set to perform his blues-inspired tracks like “Take The Money And Run” while Frampton will perform stripped-down versions of classics like “Baby I Love Your Way.” Tickets are $65, $85 and $100.

 

Bob Marley

WHEN: June 24, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

A Maine native, Comedy Central star Bob Marley has been performing his unique brand of stand-up across the country for 15 years. Bob has performed on the late-night TV circuit appearing on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and more. Tickets are $27.50, $40 and $52.50.

 

Psychic Medium Matt Fraser

Join renowned psychic and medium Matt Fraser in Foxwoods’ Celebrity Ballroom where he will continue his mission of connecting those who have passed with the loved ones they left behind in his uplifting live experience "Medium with a Message." Tickets are $42.50.

 

Matoma

Norwegian DJ and record producer Matoma is a rising star having collaborated with music industry chart-toppers like Jason Derulo and Jennifer Lopez. He has performed at major festivals including Bonnaroo and Coachella and is now touring his exclusive remixes worldwide. Tickets are $15.

 

Nik Wallenda’s Zirkus

Internationally renowned wire walker Nik Wallenda is returning to the Fox Theater to perform Zirkus, a gravity-defying spectacle that will have families on the edge of their seats as Nik and his international circus troupe brave the high wire for a night of suspense. Tickets are $15 and $25.
