Foxwoods Resort Casino and LION FIGHT are pleased to announce the world class Muay Thai action will come to the east coast for the first time in history. The main event match up of LION FIGHT 15, between Brazilian fighting superstar and World Muay Thai Champion, Cosmo Alexandre, and former UFC fighter and World Muay Thai Federation Champion Mark Holst, will take place live at Foxwoods on Friday, May 23 at 9:00 p.m. in the Fox Theater.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the first bout starts at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for LION FIGHT 15 are $25, $55 and $95 and are on sale now.  Tickets are available online at or by calling the Foxwoods’ Box Office at 800-200-2882 or Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available by visiting the Foxwoods box office.

LION FIGHT 15 will also feature the return of former Lightweight Champion Tiffany “Timebomb” Van Soest, Muay Thai Champion Kevin Ross and rising star Jason Andrada.

“Foxwoods is one of the entertainment capitals of the world, so it’s only fitting that we bring in the top sporting events available, including Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai,” said Felix Rappaport, Senior Vice President and COO, Foxwoods Resort Casino. “LION FIGHT Muay Thai offers some of the best standup athletes in the world going toe-to-toe in non-stop action. Fans of both Mixed Martial Arts and boxing will love it.”

Known as “the art of eight limbs,” Muay Thai is a combat sport from the Muay martial arts of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques and combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet.

“Fans have been asking us to bring LION FIGHT’s world class Muay Thai events to the east coast for years,” said Kent. “We just needed the right venue and the right partner and we found both with Felix Rappaport and his team at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Every year LION FIGHT makes bold moves to grow this sport and attract more and more fight fans to Muay Thai, and so we are very excited offer LION FIGHT 15 and this world class Muay Thai experience to fans out East.”

"Muay Thai is my first love and I’m excited to give fight fans on the east coast a great main event at LION FIGHT 15,” said Alexandre. "I’m taking this fight seriously and don’t plan to let the judges decide. So don’t blink. This is Muay Thai, the action doesn’t stop and I’m going to give my fans a knockout.”

The fights will be broadcast live on AXS TV starting at 9:00 p.m. with play-by-play and commentary by Pat Miletich and “The Voice” Michael Schiavello. This will be the eighth LION FIGHT event on AXS TV, who renewed their broadcast licensing deal with the Muay Thai promotion earlier this year.
