09.17.2014

LION FIGHT has announced its lineup of live fights for LION FIGHT 19, the Muay Thai promotion’s third event on east coast Friday, November 21. AXS TV’s INSIDE MMA first broke the news that LION FIGHT 19 will present a double title fight with reigning champions Fabio Pinca and Caley Reece both attempting title defenses for the first time ever.

Tickets for LION FIGHT 19 are on sale now starting at $25 and available through Foxwoods.com or by calling the Foxwoods’ Box Office at 800-200-2882 or Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available by visiting the Foxwoods Resort Casino box office.

In the championship main event, Lyon, France’s Pinca (90-21-4), Lion Fight’s welterweight champion, will take on top contender Sean Kearney (29-9-1) fighting out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In the championship co-main event, Caley Reece (50-5-0), fighting out of Perth, Australia, will take on European Muay Thai Champion Chajmaa Bellekhal (43-10-2) coming from Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Pinca last fought at LION FIGHT 12 where he won the vacant welterweight title by systematically outpointing world class Muay Thai fighter Malaipet. In addition to holding the Lion Fight title, Pinca is also the 2012 WBC World Muay Thai Welterweight Champion, 2010 Isuzu Thai Fight Tournament Champion and 2009 WBC World Muay Thai Super Lightweight Champion. He’s known for his technical fighting style and for his high profile victory over one of the world’s most renowned Thai fighters, Saenchai, in a spectacular 2012 rematch.

Reece last fought at LION FIGHT 13 where she gave Tiffany Van Soest her first Lion Fight loss in a unanimous decision victory. The new women’s Lion Fight Featherweight Champion, Reece is considered one of the greatest female fighters in standup sports. The Australian native has held three World Muay Thai Council (WMC) titles and also fought as a professional kickboxer. She is a legend in standup and has the experience, confidence and aggression to hold the featherweight strap against any opponent in Muay Thai.
