 MASHANTUCKET, CT (March 3, 2017) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino is teaming up with Stony Creek Brewery from Branford, CT to showcase a number of select craft beers, including Foxwoods IPA, for a special “Tap Takeover” event on Thursday, March 9 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.



Tap Takeover bars will include Alta Strada, Cedars Bar & Lounge, Live@Atrium, Hard Rock Cafe and Centrale Fox Tower.  Craft beer enthusiasts can visit any of these five locations to sample some of Stony Creek’s most sought-after brews including Snow Hole Double red (winter seasonal) , Stoney Joe, Big Cranky Imperial IPA  and Little Cranky Session IPA.  


In addition, guests can experience the new Foxwoods IPA, a unique recipe designed specifically for Foxwoods Resort CasinoStony Creek’s Brewmaster describes Foxwoods IPA as “a classic American style IPA (India Pale Ale).”  The beer is built on a foundation of a smooth malt body that finishes extremely crisp and clean.  Generous additions of Cascade and Chinook hops contribute bright aromatic notes of Citrus and Pine.


All Tap Takeover guests will receive a commemorative Foxwoods 25th Anniversary/Stony Creek pint glass.  Additionally, attendees may visit each location to receive an entry form to submit at Centrale Fox Tower by 10:00 p.m. for a chance to win overnight stays at Foxwoods and Stony Creek merchandise.
