Since there’s so much to do at Foxwoods, you probably have a lot of questions. 

Below are answers to some of our most common inquiries. If you have questions that aren’t covered here, please let us know and we’ll make sure you get the answers you need.

What is the legal gambling age in your casino?

The legal age to play Table Games, Slots, Race Book and Keno is 21. * On the date you turn 21 you will not be able to enter the casino floor until 6am. The legal age to play Bingo is 18.

What forms of ID are accepted?

To gain physical access to the gaming floor, Patrons must have at least one (1) of the following valid (i.e. NOT EXPIRED) forms of identification:  

  • State Driver’s license
  • Military ID
  • Passport
  • State ID
  • Other forms of government ID 

All these id's must have a photo AND birth date AND be permanent (not temporary) The ID must be valid (not expired) to be considered acceptable.

We do not accept multiple forms of identification in order to make one “acceptable”  ID. 

To gain access to accounts, including creating a Rewards account, replacing Rewards cards, redeeming promotional offers, issuing cash back, claiming any promotional prizes, cashing checks, establishing a credit line, or to claim any jackpot winnings, a valid ID (I.e. NOT EXPIRED) must be presented. 

  • Acceptable Primary ID examples are:
  • State Issued Driver's Licenses (Interim Licenses Are Accepted From The States Of NY and Mass. Only)
  • State Issued Non-Driver's License
  • Military/Military Dependent Id (May Not Expire If Retired),
  • Alien Registration Card (May Not Have An Expiration Date)
  • Passport
  • Other State Issued ID, Such As A Pistol Permit, Racing Association, Casino License, Etc.  

Patrons who do not have a Primary ID may present two (2) forms of SECONDARY ID. One of the secondary types must contain an address. 

  • Acceptable Secondary ID examples are:
  • Company Photo Employee Card
  • Student Photo ID Card
  • Major Credit Card
  • Vehicle Registration
  • Current Utility, Medical, Charge Account Bill
  • Canadian Citizen Photo ID

Where are your high-limit Slot areas?

There are three high-limit slot areas; the Grand Pequot Casino, the Great Cedar Casino, and, at the Fox Tower Casino, near the Shrine Lounge and Nightclub.

Do you have a non-smoking Slot section?

Yes. The Rainmaker Casino and Great Cedar Casino have non-smoking slot areas: In Rainmaker, near the shuttle entrance and Race Book, and, also, near the Hard Rock Café. There are currently over 900 exciting games in these areas in various denominations.

How does the ticket out/ticket in games work?

The slot machine will print out a ticket when you cash out instead of coin. You can take this ticket/voucher to any cage for redemption or you can insert the voucher into another voucher game and credits will be issued to you on the machine. When you cash out at that game a new ticket will be printed and issued.

Do you have a non-smoking Table Games area?

Yes, the Great Cedar Casino is a smoke-free Gaming area. We also designate specific tables as “no smoking” in the Rainmaker and Grand Pequot Casinos, as well as at the Fox Tower Casino. The new Poker room located below the Rainmaker Casino is completely smoke free.

Where is your Poker room?

The World Poker Room is located below the Rainmaker Casino. You can access this area by escalator and elevator near the Atrium and Hard Rock Cafe or by stairs in the Rainmaker near where the Poker Room used to be.

How can I access my Win/Loss Statement?

To access you Win/Loss statement, log in to you Foxwoods Rewards account, and click on Tax Forms.

You will need to enter your account number, PIN and Social Security Number in order view or download your tax forms.
