MASHANTUCKET, CT (December 19, 2016) – Foxwoods® Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination, is starting 2017 off with a bang with a diverse array of world-class entertainment offerings. Award-winning actors, comedians and singers are set to perform at the state-of-the-art Grand and Fox Theaters, while renowned celebrity guest DJs will spin their original hits on the turntables at SHRINE.

Joy Behar

WHEN: January 7, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Co-host of ABC Television Network’s “The View,” Joy Behar is an Emmy Award-winning talk show host and leading comedic talent. Joy has starred in two HBO specials and has hosted her own shows including “The Joy Behar Show” on HLN and “Say Anything” on Current TV. Joy’s talents have also been seen on the big screen in films such as "This is My Life" and onstage performing her solo act "Me, My Mouth and I." Tickets are $35 and $48.


El Genero Concert

WHEN: January 7, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

For the first time ever, El Genero Concert will bring together Puerto Rican trap music with vocal stylings from singers Arcangel, Bryant Myers, Anonimus and Almigthy. Trap style, with its slow rhythms with an accelerated rapeo, has become the main rhythmic platform for the newest and hottest talent in Puerto Rico, and is coming to you live at the Grand Theater! DJ JesseJess has taken his music from a modest hobby to an illustrious career. A Massachusetts native, JesseJess has landed residencies at some of Boston's hottest venues including Royale and The Estate and is bringing his open-format approach to the turntables at SHRINE for a night of can’t miss, heart-pounding music. Tickets are $30.


The Dan Band

WHEN: January 13, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

The Dan Band gained its rabid cult following when front man Dan Finnerty’s cover of the karaoke classic “I Am Woman” received rave reviews from top-tier publications. With cameo appearances in hit comedy films including “The Hangover” and “Old School,” The Dan Band continues to tour throughout the country playing to sold-out audiences and has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Ellen,” “Last Comic Standing” and more. The Amazing Johnathan

WHEN: January 14, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Bringing an eclectic mix of magic and comedy to his unscripted performances, The Amazing Johnathan has cemented his reputation as one of the most original and successful performers today.  He has appeared on countless TV shows, performed on the biggest stages in Las Vegas and has even performed for multiple United States presidents. The Amazing Johnathan is back for three performances only, so don’t miss his stop at the Fox Theater! Tickets are $36.


DJ Scene

WHEN: January 14, 9:00 p.m.


DJ Scene's high energy and unique style have made him a crowd favorite in clubs from Las Vegas to Atlantic City. With residencies at some of the hottest nightclubs across the nation, a podcast series, a weekly radio show and a string of original mixes in his arsenal, DJ Scene has quickly become one of the most sought-after DJs in the country. Gladys Knight and The Whispers

WHEN: January 14, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Grand Theater

A seven-time GRAMMY Award winner, Gladys Knight has long been considered one of the greatest female vocalists in history. She has held top spots in music genres spanning pop, gospel and R&B, and has triumphed in both film and television performances. Knight will be joined onstage by one of the world’s longest-running soul vocal groups, The Whispers, performing chart-topping hits such as “Seems Like I Gotta Do Wrong” and “And the Beat Goes On.” Tickets are $30, $40 and $50.


Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood

WHEN: January 20, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Best known for their Emmy Award-winning show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood have teamed up to present a night of extraordinary improvisational comedy. Using their quick wit, Colin and Brad will ask the audience to participate in their show, creating an interactive and sidesplitting evening of original comedy. Tickets are $46.


Boston Red Sox Baseball Winter Weekend

WHEN: January 20, 21 and 22

WHERE: Grand Pequot Tower, Fox Tower

For the third year in a row, Foxwoods will host the Boston Red Sox and their fans for the exclusive Baseball Winter Weekend 2017. Red Sox players, managers and legends will be onsite for a three-day baseball festival that will include a Town Hall Meeting with Red Sox executives and leaders, autograph sessions with players, baseball insider panels, and more. Fans will also have the opportunity to take photos with the club’s three World Series trophies and team mascots Wally and Tessie. Weekend passes are on sale now. Tickets are $60 for adults and $20 for children under 14.


Artie Lange

WHEN: January 21, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Artie Lange has cemented his place as one of the most sought-after comedians in the business after a five-year stint as a beloved regular on “The Howard Stern Show.” He currently hosts his podcast, “Artie Quitter,” and can be seen in HBO’s new original comedy series, “Crashing,” which debuts in February 2017. Tickets are $36 and $46.


Paola Shea

WHEN: January 21, 9:00 p.m.


Paola Shea is bringing her open-format DJ style back to her home state of Connecticut at SHRINE. A multi-talented and driven musical act, Paola is also known for being one of the biggest personalities on the hit CBS show, “Big Brother,” and has appeared on MTV’s “Girl Code.” Tickets are $30.


Bob Marley

WHEN: January 27, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

A Maine native, Comedy Central star Bob Marley has been performing his unique brand of stand-up across the country for 15 years. Bob has performed on the late-night TV circuit appearing on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and more. Tickets are $27.50, $40 and $52.50.


Doo-Wop Hall of Fame of America

WHEN: January 28, 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Fox Theater

Don’t miss a night of watching your favorite doo-wop pioneers together onstage at the Fox Theater! Crowd favorites such as The Contours, The Original Vandellas and The Shades of Blue are scheduled to perform, with a special salute to original Temptations lead singer David Ruffin, sung by his son David Ruffin, Jr. Tickets are $47 and $57.


Jason Smith

WHEN: January 28, 9:00 p.m.


Combining his endless enthusiasm for music with his technical DJ skills, Jason Smith brings a fresh ear and a timeless musical style to every venue he plays. A resident DJ at SHRINE, Jason’s talents have brought him across the globe to share his mastery of the art form for crowds of all sizes. Tickets are $30.
