Veterans Powwow

We invite all members of the military, both Veteran and active duty and their families to join us in honoring and thanking this Country’s greatest heroes at our 2018 Veterans Powwow.

This event is open to all Native and non-native veterans, active duty military and their families, museum members as well as the general public who are encouraged to join us in honoring and thanking this country's greatest heroes at our 2018 Veterans Powwow being held inside the museum.

Please join us as restaurateur Jon Kodama brings together chefs from his restaurants, Go Fish, Steak Loft, and Breakwater together with Mashantucket Pequot Native Specialty Cook Stormy Rickerson for a Native Thanksgiving Buffet Feast!

We will be preparing and featuring traditional Native fare with a modern twist. The buffet features locally sourced, delicious items including:

  • Roasted Cedar-planked Salmon with onion jam
  • Roasted Local Turkey with traditional stuffing
  • Roasted Venison with local wild mushrooms
  • Along with an assortment of breads, soups, salads, sides, and desserts.
